 To calculate FHA mortgage loan amount take purchase price X 96.5% + 1.75% for UFMIP = loan amount.

 FHA requires 3.5% down Payment  for 96.5% FHA purchase,  1.35% for M.I.P.  for 96.5% loan and 1.30% for 90% loan.
